When it is too cold to be outside

I'm refraining making an introduction post.

You see, I find way too many things interesting and there is simply too much going on in my head to put on my Plan, so this is like the extended version where I can remember a few weeks down the road what I was thinking. If you read The Slog, Something Awful or BBC news a lot, this is going to be painfully familiar. If you don't, please don't start and read my drivel instead.

I am currently trying to avoid the reality of writing a paragraph on patriarchy in 17th century America. Damn, I love history sometimes.
